The City of Kingsport wastewater treatment plant accepts household septic waste from private haulers. Haulers must fill out and submit an application for a permit along with a permit fee of one-hundred dollars ($100). The permit is valid for two (2) years.

The cost for disposal is seventy-five dollars ($75) per truck load. Septic haulers must sign in each load at the receiving station.
